This wax brush set, featuring a hard horsehair brush, a softer nylon brush, and a bronze brush, is the perfect basic equipment for those who want to wax their skis, cross-country skis, or snowboard themselves.
We recommend cleaning the base with the bronze brush in the first step. By making even strokes from the ski tip to the end and applying light pressure, you can effectively remove dirt and wax residues from the base. This allows the base to better absorb the new wax.
After ironing in the new wax, allowing it to cool, and scraping it off with a plexiglass scraper, use the horsehair brush to brush out the base structure.
Once the excess wax is brushed out, the softer nylon brush comes into play.
Thanks to its softer bristles, the base structure is freed from any remaining wax residues, and the base is polished. Done! Now, head out to the trail or slope!
